Goldfinger Brewing Company has the following open positions:
Delivery Driver – Part Time
The Role
Play a key role in representing Goldfinger Brewing Company at our retailers. Your role is to deliver packaged beer (kegs and cases) and glassware safely and efficiently to our retail customers throughout Chicagoland. You will be expected to foment strong relationships with our retailers to open up avenues of communication so we can better serve their accounts. This role includes, but is not limited to:
• Adhering to the schedule and executing duties and responsibilities assigned
• Handle warehouse and delivery tasks to retail customers
• Retail deliveries that require physically demanding work loading and unload on a repetitive basis
• Heavy hand truck work
• Build strong relationships with customers by delivering products in a timely and efficient manner, building displays, filling customer shelves, and rotating product as necessary to ensure freshness
• Complete and submit all require paperwork: invoices, load sheets, cash/checks
• Daily inspection of delivery van; keep vehicle clean and advise management of any service issues
• Expertly communicate Goldfinger’s uniqueness and mission
Performance Requirements
• Must be in good physical condition as heavy lifting and transporting will be required
• Basic math skills
• Provide adequate availability including weekday early mornings
• Positive attitude and resilient work ethic
• Demonstrated knowledge of craft beer, including a basic understanding of beer production
• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to hoist up to 165lb kegs from the ground into a delivery van with the assistance of forklifts and hand trucks
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working with Excel, email, digital maps, and texting applications
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Beertender – Part Time and Full Time
The Role
Play a key role in many visiting customer’s first experience with our brand. Your role is to provide a friendly, informative, and attentive beer experience for our customers. You will be responsible for ensuring that taproom patrons are well informed about beer choices and are served quickly and efficiently. This role includes, but is not limited to:
• Adhering to the schedule and executing duties and responsibilities assigned
• Engaging with each patron directly and making them feel welcomed while working to meet their needs quickly and efficiently
• Politely and respectfully addressing customers’ questions about the brewery and beer, regardless of their knowledge or experience.
• Ensuring the beers on tap are served properly (proper foam to beer ratio, clean glassware, proper temperature)
• Conforming and enforcing regulations set forth by the alcoholic beverage commission, the Village of Downers Grove, and Goldfinger Brewing.
• Maintain a clean bar, taproom, bathrooms, employee lounge, and outdoor area
• Maintain a pleasant taproom environment (music, cleanliness, conduct, temperature)
• Expertly communicate Goldfinger’s uniqueness and mission
Performance Requirements
• Check identification of guests in order to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
• Adhere to the safe alcohol serving guidelines and maintain GBC training.
• Provide adequate availability including nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Positive attitude and ability to work with a diverse set of people
• Demonstrated knowledge of craft beer, including a basic understanding of beer production
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
• Ability to lift 35-50lbs and move full kegs with the aid of a dolly.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Prior bartending/serving experience strongly preferred
• Basic familiarity with tablet-based POS systems and other web based tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Bassett certified
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Grace under pressure
• Cicerone Beer Server or similar certification preferred
